Sam Soares' stage name is Shaka Son. The shaka sign, sometimes known as "hang loose", means greetings, blessings and good luck.

Shaka Son has a signature sound and genre, which is self proclaimed as "Heart Rock". Shaka Son is inspired by: The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Oasis, and Tom Petty.

All Shaka Son's songs are 100% authentic. He writes all the songs, arranges and plays all the instruments. Although he would like a band of friends who share the same intensity for freedom and music as he does. Its a long way to the top if you wanna rock and roll.
